(From Pittsford, you take the FIRST campus entrance. It is the only one that has a stoplight. You turn left, and then make a right turn into the first parking lot you come to (very soon). Try to park as far back into the lot as you can. You should see the words, "Gerald G. Wilmot Hall of Music" on a brick building, and underneath it says, "Wilmot Hall". That is the building you want. "Wilmot Hall" is the concert room IN the Wilmot Building. We are NOT in the concert room, but upstairs in the lecture hall on the second floor.)
The competition will take place in Room A183, which is on the SECOND floor of the Gerald Wilmot Music Building. The warm up rooms are very close to that room. There are two convenient staircases to the second floor, but they’re a little difficult to find. I will have my cell phone on (472-3002) in case you are lost. Also, there is a lady who will greet you at the door and show you where to warm up, if she can find you (there are three different doors you might choose to enter, which makes it slightly tricky). Don’t be worried if you are lost—we’ll find each other eventually, and you will not miss your audition by being late. We will simply adjust the schedule somehow to fit you in. Of course, we love it if you ARE on time! There is no shortage of practice rooms, so you may come anytime after 8:30 AM.
