Violinist Elana Klotz received the Bachelor of Music degree in performance from the Eastman School of Music, and completed her Suzuki method teaching studies there. She has performed with a number of orchestras, most recently with the Eastman Philharmonia and the Boca Raton Sinfonia, and has been featured as soloist with the Eastman School Symphony Orchestra and the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, among others. Ms. Klotz is the winner of numerous competitions and awards, including the Northern Kentucky University Musician Award, the Eastman School Concerto Competition, and the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra Albright Award. She is a devoted teacher of chamber music and of both Suzuki and traditional violin methods. Ms. Klotz maintains a private studio, is the violin instructor at Seton Catholic School, and joined the Hochstein in Canandaigua faculty in 2007.
