Christine Hauptly

Biography
Christine Hauptly has been a member of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra since 2002. She received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a master’s degree in Music from Rice University (Houston, Texas). Prior to coming to the RPO, she was associate concertmaster and section violinist of the Madison Symphony. She has participated in the Britt Festival in Oregon, Skaneateles Festival and Schleswig-Holstein Festival in Germany. Ms. Hauptly also maintains an active teaching career in Rochester, including positions at Roberts Wesleyan College and Parkminster Music School.
