Biography

Mr. Burroughs is the chair of the Music Department and is a music teacher and choral director in both the Middle and Upper Schools. He also serves as music director for the Upper School musical theater productions. He was a John Motley Morehead scholar at the University of North Carolina, where he received his BMEd; he is currently spending his summers pursuing a master’s in music education at the Eastman School of Music. Before coming to Rochester, he taught in rural North Carolina, New Orleans, LA, and Jackson, MS.
